Photo Description	This Volunteer works at the Yako hospital center for maternal and child health care and directs mobile PMI teams that provide health surveillance in surrounding villages. Children found to be suffering from malnutrition are brought to the hospital center, given food and medical treatment. Their mothers stay with them at the center and are given basic instruction in nutrition and sanitation measures. The Volunteer is helping to train PMI “monitors,” and set up a chicken-raising operation. 1974
