Photo Description	This Volunteer works as a registered nurse in the rural town of Jose Guango Bajo. She divides her work between treating patients in the town clinic and visiting indigenous families in outlying rural areas. She believes that health starts in the home, and her rural visits are a way of establishing closer contacts with people who normally do not receive medical attention. Through these contacts she hopes to attract people to her clinic and incorporate them into classes on nutrition and preventive health care.
