Photo Description	Volunteer works with a USAID-funded central nursery in Djenne. In this photo, she plants trees with school boys in a garden of the Franco-Arab Primary School in Djenne. She will oversee the creation of a school garden well to be funded by the Ambassador’s Self-Help Fund. She is especially concerned with the establishment of mini-nurseries at area schools so that children may learn from an early age the importance of and care for trees. Working from the AID-funded nursery of Djenne, she hopes to organize the transplanting of 50,000 trees including 25 varieties this year.
