Photo Description	This Volunteer is a community development worker in the remote village of Polugollegama, Ceylon, and surrounding villages. She serves as medical advisor and works with the community encouraging such activities as sewing circles and the planting of vegetable gardens.Here she is administering polio vaccine to one of the children that come with their mothers to the sewing sessions once a week. The representative from the government is showing her how the oral vaccine is administered so that she can do it herself.
