Photo Description	Peace Corps Volunteer Elsie Honkala is a community development worker in the remote village of Polugollegama, Ceylon, and surrounding villages. She serves as medical advisor and works with the community encouraging such activities as sewing circles and the planting of vegetable gardens. Here elsie demonstrates a sewing skill. Elsie, 69, formerly an Interior Designer, was a member of the American Institute of Designers before joining the Peace Corps. Her former address was 212 Wilson Street, Syracuse, New York. Feldman.
