Photo Description	This Volunteer is serving as a modern mathematics and science teacher at the largest elementary school in Kota Bharu, Malaysia. She joined the Peace Corps at the age of 56, before which she taught at school in Louisiana, Texas and Chicago, Illinois. Besides teaching 2nd graders at Kota Bharu, she trains local teachers in modern teaching techniques and serves as assistant to the head of her school’s science department. She’s also helping to prepare lesson guide sheets and new textbooks in her subjects for all the elementary grades.
