Photo Contest Rules
Current and returned Peace Corps Volunteers and current and former Peace Corps staff are eligible to participate, with the exception of current staff in the Peace Corps Office of Communications and contest judges. The photo subject must be relevant to your Peace Corps experience.
How to Enter
Submit your Peace Corps photos online using the Peace Corps Digital Library submission form. Please make sure to read the photo submission guidelines and technical requirements found on the submission page. All photos that are submitted will become a permanent part of the Peace Corps Digital Library collection, regardless of whether or not they are selected as contest winning photos.
Please remember to include a caption that tells us why this was a life-defining moment for you.
Entries must be submitted by the original photographer. You must be the sole owner of the copyright of any image submitted. Your submission of the photo and entry form is your guarantee that you are the author and copyright holder of the photo.
Five winning photos will be selected by a photo contest judging panel for first, second, and third place, and two honorble mentions. The photo subject must be relevant to your Peace Corps experience and will be evaluated based on creativity, photographic quality, and strength in portraying the contest theme, life-defining moments during your Peace Corps service.
Entries for the Entries for the Peace Corps Viewfinder Photo Contest must be received via the Peace Corps Digital Library by 11:59 p.m. EDT Sunday, August 17, 2014.
