Peace Corps Week | February 24 – March 2, 2013
The Peace Corps community is invited to share photos and stories for Peace Corps Week, an annual celebration of how Peace Corps Volunteers make a difference in communities around the world and back home in the United States.
This is a great opportunity to share the Peace Corps experience with the public. A sample of the most inspiring photos and stories will be featured on the Peace Corps website and social media sites.
Peace Corps Week Themed Days
Each day of the week-long celebration features a theme that ties to the Third Goal of the Peace Corps mission--helping promote a better understanding of other peoples on the part of Americans. Please submit photos or stories that correspond to one of the following themes:
- Grow Your Peace Corps Family Tree
- Inspire Global Learning
- Share Culture from Around the Globe
- Invite the World to Your Table
- Foster Global Citizenship
- Champion RPCVs as Global Professionals
- Act Locally, Influence Globally
